Electric Guitar Commission Complete

Signed, sealed and delivered to it’s new home in Moncton, New Brunswick.

This was an awesome piece to work on.

The couple who commissioned it, also own an acoustic guitar I did several years ago

and were looking for something in a similar abstracted, splash style to compliment it for their music/stereo room.

So asides from those parameters I was given free reign on the project which is always nice 🙂

I knew the “she” out of the couple liked teal so I included that in my color choices and went for a 80’s galaxy rock type of feel.

Here’s how it turned out.

These mail really easily and come in two pieces if anyone else is interested in commissioning one I have them on sale until the end of August.

They make awesome statement wall pieces, great for music/art lovers.

I am pleased to announce that the Milke Family has started a new creation!

We are pregnant again.

It’s very early on in the First Trimester but it is exciting news that had to be shared.

🙂 I’ll be sure to update as we see how this new little creation is progressing.

Well I finished the “Homecoming” commission piece that I was given earlier this week and much to my relief the person who commissioned me loved it!

It’s always awesome when that happens.

Commissions can be a bit tricky sometimes because everyone has their own vision of what they want a piece to look like.

But so far so good with all my previous paintings.

So here it is, I think I’ll call it “La Vie en Rose” because she was inspired by feminine Parisian colors.

While I’ve been waiting for paint to dry I’ve also done up some more jewelry pieces for my Etsy shop you can check them out and buy them here

Well I’m off to work on an Electric Guitar commission 🙂

Also tomorrow is D-Day to find out who got the City Hall Art Commission, *fingers crossed*
