Still wet “Salvation”

Here as promised, is my newest piece.

“Salvation”

Salvation

I still don’t think it’s 100% dry (as I was quite liberal with my paint) but, I couldn’t wait any longer to share it with you.

I’d be interested in hearing what everyone thinks.

Cheers for now,

A

  2. First of all, Bluebeard quotes are @#$%! nice.

On this painting: I can’t decide/tell if the motion of salvation in this painting is centrifugal or centripetal. Somehow I think this is a good thing and says a lot about salvation of any kind.

  3. @ sourtimes: thanks I’m glad you like it. I do too, I keep walking by it and stopping to look at it.

@JBam: Thanks but your not getting this one lol unless you want to pay off my student loan in which case I’d gladly hand it over 😛

@wrjones: Thanks for your input. And yes, at this rate I’ll be out of paint soon.

@asfarasthought: Thanks I love that book, its great. I’ll probably add more later. With regards to the painting thanks, I’m glad you like it. I couldn’t even tell you, centrifugal vs. centripetal but I do hope people can get the salvation imagery alright.

  4. Talk about freaky… I saw this picture in a vision over eighteen years ago. The only difference is that in my vision there was a cross in the center. God was showing me that only the blood of Jesus can wipe out the darkness that is sin. I tried to paint it myself when I was about 15, but could not capture it like you have here. So interesting to come across this accidentally on google many years after I saw it in my sleep. WOW!
