Persistence-Three Fold Prayer series

A day late but as promised.

Here is #1 “Persistence” of a 3 part series on prayer. Each piece is 11″ x 15″.

The series is based on the 3 key aspects of prayer as mentioned in Luke chapter 11.

I’ll try to do post the rest of the series over the next few days.

I’m also working on some blank greeting cards with my artwork as the cover as well as some unique hand painted bookmarks. I’ll post some examples as I get them finished.  I’m also hoping to update with a list of prices and a gallery highlighted the various items for sale and of course, they’ll all be available to purchase at the upcoming trade show.

Stay tuned!

Cheers,

Amanda

Three Fold Prayer & Thanksgiving

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving to you all!

I spent all of yesterday baking, cooking and painting. Fun!

So what did I get accomplished you might ask?

Well, I made two pumpkin pies, baked some yams and made stuffing.

Oh and I also finished the watercolor on the “Three Fold Prayer” series.

I was able to finish the writing on the first piece “Persistence” however I haven’t had time to take a picture yet.

You’ll just have to wait until my next post.

Here’s a look at the recently added watercolor layer. Continue reading “Three Fold Prayer & Thanksgiving”

Three fold prayer-edited

Alright so after testing out the 195gms paper I find myself un-impressed.

So I’ve decided to re-do the series on the same paper I did the “Life Simplified” series on.

Same size and everything so instead of being 9″x12″ they’ll be 11″x15″ approx.

I’ve also changed the last image to something more suitable.

The series will be based on the three fold concept of prayer presented in Luke 11: 1-13.

Persistence, Promise, Provision

I’ll update once I’ve added the color.

Cheers,

A

An Interview with Me

Through my meandering on the internet I had the pleasure of meeting and conversing (virtually) with Maryanne Ventrice a photographer based in New York. Maryanne also enjoys interviewing creative individuals on her blog, be it musically or otherwise and was kind enough to include me among her interviewees.

You can check out her blog and the interview here:
