Sometimes things feel so complicated.
The weight of life weighs heavy on you
and you don’t want to get out of bed
let alone go through another day.
You just pray to God hoping something will change
so you can see the light.
So you can bare the light.
This is where I’ve been.
I want to dedicate this piece to my husband.
Who in my darkest hour
when I didn’t think I could go on
reached out with his heart and saved me.
I love you.
You are my knight in shining armor.
“Save Me” #5 of the Life Simplified series.

Cheers,

Thanks, darling, I love you too.
And I like this piece a lot.
I don’t know if feminists would, but I do.

Meh, women being saved has always been a theme.
Feminists can bite me!
I’m a proud, independent, strong willed man loving woman.

yes I had seen this one and I like it a lot too! yeah, if feminists are too proud to admit they like to feel lost in the arms of another, that’s just sad. Here it’s the man carrying the woman, but I’m sure there could be a version of a woman holding a man (in her own way) This painting shows a man a little heroic and a woman in need on comfort and support. Perhaps this could be seen as stereotypical, but i see it as another great intimate moment between two people who adore each other.
