  1. This piece is interesting in the context of the series, particularly as the woman’s head seems to be positioned in such a way so as to make the request.

    It is as though the two are holding one another, but she is crying out to be truly embraced by the lover.

  2. lol it’s a bad thing to say, but I guess as the artist, I didn’t read into it that way. I just wanted the emphasis to be on “embrace” because it has so many underlining meanings that I felt were so applicable. I guess that’s why there are so many art critiques and why art is subject to the viewer. Either way, I thought it fit the series well. Hey Eve, did you see #5?
