This piece is interesting in the context of the series, particularly as the woman’s head seems to be positioned in such a way so as to make the request.
It is as though the two are holding one another, but she is crying out to be truly embraced by the lover.

yeah i agree with J, and i like the fact that the man (although he’s not looking directly at her) knows she wants to be embraced.

lol it’s a bad thing to say, but I guess as the artist, I didn’t read into it that way. I just wanted the emphasis to be on “embrace” because it has so many underlining meanings that I felt were so applicable. I guess that’s why there are so many art critiques and why art is subject to the viewer. Either way, I thought it fit the series well. Hey Eve, did you see #5?
