As you may or may not have noticed, I decided to take a brief reprise from my blog and the whole creation process.
I’ve just not been feeling very creative. I think part of that has to do with how often I’ve been sick lately.
(Just another one of the joys of working with so many kids)
So whenever I’m feeling down, or introspective I go back to abstracts for rediscovery.
Which, is what today’s piece is.
So I’m exhausted.
Today I had the fun experience of renewing my work visa.
This entailed approximately an hour and 15 min drive to get to Morioka, 30 min. on foot to find the place, 30 min to process the application, 15 min walk to the train station, 40 min wait for the train, 1 hour and 15 min train ride back to Mizusawa, 45 min lunch break, 1 hr of office work, 1 hr drive to Ichinoseki, 5hrs of teaching, 45 min drive home…CRAP day!
So, you may as well say I worked all day because I left for work a 8am and just got home now at 8:50pm.
BLEH
So this is all you get!
A quick sketch I did on the train.
I am hoping however, that when I have some time again to turn it into a larger piece.
I want to black out the people and focus on the window with all the blurring colors as the train travels by.
I dunno if that will happen this weekend or not because I’m also working SUNDAY.
Have I mentioned I’m looking forward to coming home???

Ok, well it’s finished, “life” that is. Or at least as finished as it’s going to get for a while.
But first, let’s look at sex.
This piece was hard to get to.
I think the problem was that I was looking at what sex is and could be and forgot all about what it is to me.
I’m not real concerned if you get it or not, because frankly I think you’d have to be inside my head to fully understand it.
(And the thought of you all walking around in there is a pretty scary concept. That and the fact that I wouldn’t want liability suits springing up because you tripped/fell over something, it is pretty cluttered 😛 )
Either way, here it is.

Alright, here’s 
“Life” as it currently stands.
I’ve decided that I won’t just drop the project, but add to it as things come up in my life.
So, section 1 of “life” is complete.

For those few faithful readers I have out, fear not lol I haven’t given up on “Life” by which of course I mean, the acrylic series I’m working on.
I’ve started the next piece in the series, but have sort of hit a “painter’s block” as it were.
I think part of the problem is I’m trying to paint “Sex” which is such a loaded concept.
I want to be able to fully express it without coming across too complex or too simple.
So until I figure out the details, I’ll be working on some more doodles to ease my mind and artistic urges.
