Fashionable Project

Good Day,

Just thought I’d update so you wouldn’t think I fell off the planet, again.

As you can see I’ve been branching out a bit lately what with my new poetry site: poetryintransit@wordpress.com

and with my latest creations.

I was trying to think of ways to put out my artwork in a cheaper and more portable way and what I’ve come up with are bags and purses.

Great for almost anything.

I only have 2 styles completed so far (messenger style and tote bag) but more are definitely on the way.

Messenger Style Bag $35 CAD
Messenger Style Bag $35 CAD

Each bag is hand painted with stitching embellishments and assembled by me.

Tote Style Bag with Hooped Buttoned closure $25 CAD
Tote Style Bag with Hooped Buttoned closure $25 CAD

Guaranteed no two alike.

These two samples are simple abstract designs but almost any of my other artwork can be modified in a bag flaps.

A few other items are on the way soon.

These bags at the moment are made to order.

You pick the colors/design and I’ll do it up.

Message me if you’re interested.

Cheers and Stay Creative,

A

7 styles of—

I’ve taken a break from the “Curvy” series and started a new series focused on shoes.

More specifically, stilettos.

The series will be called “7 styles of  ————–”

Why the blank? Well that’s because I’m not telling just yet.

I want to see what you, the viewer might think it is.

What comes to mind when you think of high heel shoes?

The series will consist of 7 watercolor and ink paintings each 9″x12″ with a stiletto as the subject.

Here is #1.RED

And as per the norm, I was too impatient to wait for the ink to dry.

Let me know your thoughts.

Cheers,

Amanda

Curvy no.3

The next installment of the “Curvy” Watercolor series.

For some reason, this one just did not want to be photographed this evening…

might have something to do with the fact that it wasn’t 100% dry yet

*shrug* What can I say? I’m impatient.

Anyway instead of fighting with it all night, I decided to use the not so stellar photo regardless.

So keep in mind that this photo does not do it justice but is good enough to give you the idea.

Here is #3 in the “Curvy” series.

Curvy no3

I’m enjoying the series so far but I’m not sure if I’ll get another one finished tomorrow night or not.

I need to do up a couple more backgrounds and pick up more ink so we’ll see what happens.

But for tonight enjoy and Cheers.

Amanda

Curvy #2

As I mentioned in my last post, I’ve started another watercolor & ink series.

This series will consist of a watercolor background and a curvy woman inked in.

What I also neglected to mention

(and you can’t really tell that well  in the photos)

is that the watercolor background also has traces of either silver or gold acrylic paint to give additional character and depth.

As with my previous series “Life Simplified”, the emphasis is on simplistic beauty.

The dimensions are 11″ x 15″ and as usual painted on cold press 140lb watercolor paper.

Here is #2 in the Curvy series.

Curvy 2

I particularly like this one though I’m not quite sure why.

Perhaps it’s the colours or the submissive yet assertive posture of the woman.

Hope you enjoy.

Cheers,

Amanda
