“Life Simplified” at a glance

Just thought I’d do a quick post to review the “Life Simplified” series. So far the series consists of 7 pieces.

“life” not so “simplified”

I think it’s ironic (and perhaps I’m actually using the term right for once) that while working on a series

called “life simplified” mine ends up feeling not so simple.

I have added three more pieces to the series, although I’ve yet to put down a single pencil stroke.

I do have the preliminary images outlined and even the words selected.

I’ll post them sometime.

I also have another exhibitΒ  happening on the 18th of this month.

I’ll post about that sometime too.

In the mean time, here’s something to keep you musically entertained.

Cheers,

A

The camera just doesn’t capture the richness of tones or texture that’s in each piece. See, this is why you should buy or commission one πŸ˜‰

Anyway, here it is. Continue reading “#2 of Life Simplified”

New Series: “Life Simplified” Part two

Yesterday I was able to finish up the watercolor painting on the four “Life Simplified” pieces.

Of course, I couldn’t resist going a bit colorful. It’s just my nature!

I did however do only flat colors with minimal shading because I’m going to be writing all over them.

Thus, no need for too much detail.

That being said, here’s a peak at them all colorful like.

Just for fun I’ve added the black outline for a before and after comparison Continue reading “New Series: “Life Simplified” Part two”
